Our Story

we have only just begun

Our story didn’t just begin when Jen and Brian met as freshmen in high school. Rather our experiences that our amazing parents provided us shines through in almost all of our life choices. We continue to build those memories with our parents, our kids, family, friends, and everyone we meet along the way.

Fast forward many years and we were proud parents of 3 amazing kids looking for ways to keep introducing new adventures. We first went to Disney World when our oldest was almost 3 years old and our middle child was just a few months old. This kicked off our love (some would say obsession) for vacationing at Disney World. Even our daughter’s first official vacation was to Disney World when she was also an infant. Disney holds a special place in our hearts as we’ve had many trips and experiences on a Disney vacation over the years.

Capturing our family vacations really kick started the content creator side of us. We love being able to put together a montage of our vacations with some music in a timed slideshow. Our family and friends even enjoyed following along with us. The more we did it, the more we enjoyed it, and the more we found others liked it as well. We started putting more effort into content creation and have decided to provide another avenue for our community and new friends we meet along the way.

In 2019 we took a camping trip with Jen’s parents which brought back amazing memories for Jen from her youth. Brian, who was in boy scouts, didn’t really experience camping the same way Jen did but quickly fell in love with how relaxing it was to just sit around a camp fire with amazing company. Our stay was at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Barton Lake, IN. This is where Jen had a lot of her camping experiences including Brian staying there a time or two when they were in high school. During that stay, we had decided that tent camping wasn’t for us and we should look for our first pop-up camper. The hunt was on… We quickly found out though that Brian was a bit more of a princess than we had thought. Nothing we were finding met his standards so we started to look at hybrids, which eventually led to looking at self-contained travel trailers.

Probably what had really pushed us to buy our first RV was when COVID first started. We really needed to have something for our family to do for vacations. In early 2020, we ended up purchasing an amazing bunkhouse unit from a local wholesale dealer. It probably was the best decision we have made. As Keep Your Day Dream often says, “Your Dreams Matter. Start Small – Start Now”. We had at the time a 1/2 ton pickup. The trailer we purchased was most certainly pushing its limits. For the first year we stayed local and experienced many amazing campgrounds, meeting amazing people, documenting our journeys, and most importantly making memories.

As you get to know us you will find out that we love the challenge that life brings us. We feel that we’ll never be done learning and exploring. And we have had our fair share of that. A big plus with camping is the ability to have our home with us when we travel. This is a huge advantage as we have navigated our daughter’s dietary restrictions. These experiences really brings meaning to the name “To Infinity & Somewhere”. We know life is forever changing and we welcome where tomorrow will bring us. We may not know where that will be, but we do know it will be somewhere and we’ll be doing it together.
